Our English Breakfast loose leaf tea No.6 is a dependable, full-flavoured black tea blend of Assam, Ceylon and Kenyan leaves in a carefully chosen medium leaf grade. Rich, malty and beautifully balanced, it brews to a deep glowing amber cup with bright structure, rounded strength and the satisfying character of a proper everyday breakfast tea — excellent with milk and equally pleasing taken black.
English Breakfast Loose Leaf Tea with Assam, Ceylon and Kenya
English Breakfast No.6 is a classic black tea blend made for those who want a reliable, well-rounded cup from morning through to the afternoon. Assam, Ceylon and Kenyan teas each play a clear role, creating a brew with body, brightness and enduring everyday appeal.
The medium leaf grade gives the blend a smooth, consistent infusion with enough strength for milk, but without the harshness that can come from finer, faster-brewing leaf.
Malty, Bright and Properly Full-Bodied
In the cup, this English Breakfast loose leaf tea pours a deep, warm amber with inviting clarity. Assam provides the malty backbone and generous body, Ceylon adds liveliness and lift, while Kenyan tea contributes robust strength and colour.
The result is a rounded, satisfying brew with a clean finish — bold enough for breakfast, but polished enough to return to later in the day.
Medium Leaf Grade for a Balanced Everyday Cup
The medium leaf style has been chosen for its dependable brewing character. It delivers more substance and structure than a lighter whole-leaf style, while remaining smoother and more controlled than very small broken grades.
That makes English Breakfast No.6 a strong choice for daily drinking: consistent, flavourful and easy to brew well.

Excellent with Milk, Smooth Enough to Drink Black
This blend takes milk beautifully. A splash softens the tannins, brings out the Assam malt and turns the tea into a deeply comforting British breakfast cup.
Taken black, it remains smooth and satisfying, with more of the Ceylon brightness and clean finish coming through.
How to Brew English Breakfast No.6
Use freshly boiled water at 100°C and add one heaped teaspoon per cup. Steep for 3 to 4 minutes.
A 3-minute brew gives a brighter, livelier cup. A 4-minute infusion brings out more body and malt, especially if you plan to add milk.
Avoid steeping beyond 5 minutes, as the stronger Assam and Kenyan components may begin to turn overly bitter.
Ingredients
Black tea from Assam, Ceylon and Kenya.
